Co-Founder & Head of AI
Devansh
Co-Founder & Head of AI at Irys. Builder of AI reasoning systems for legal work. Public researcher and writer on AI infrastructure, reasoning architectures, and the future of applied AI.
Devansh is the technical half of the founding pair behind Irys. He builds the AI systems that power the platform — the three-tier reasoning architecture, agentic retrieval pipeline, knowledge graph engine, and citation verification system that together make Irys One accurate enough for real legal work.
His approach to legal AI starts from a simple premise: general-purpose models fail at legal analysis not because they lack capability, but because they lack architecture. The systems behind Irys are designed to decompose legal questions into structured reasoning chains, retrieve jurisdiction-aware authority, and verify every citation before it reaches a lawyer.
Outside of Irys, Devansh is a public AI researcher whose writing on reasoning systems, AI infrastructure, and applied machine learning reaches thousands of practitioners and engineers. His publication covers topics from cost-efficient reasoning techniques to the structural limitations of current AI evaluation methods.
And yes — Devansh does not have a last name. Just Devansh. It is not a typo.
