Quick Actions
Quick Actions are the pill-shaped shortcut buttons displayed below the AI Assistant input bar. Each button triggers a pre-configured prompt for a common legal task, saving you from typing repetitive instructions.
Default Quick Actions
Out of the box, the following Quick Actions are available:
| Quick Action | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Draft an NDA | Generates a non-disclosure agreement based on your matter context and any details you provide. |
| Create a Policy | Produces a company policy document tailored to your specified topic (e.g., data privacy, acceptable use, remote work). |
| Generate a Contract | Creates a contract draft using the parameters you supply, such as parties, terms, and governing law. |
| Legal Brief Summary | Summarizes a legal brief or memorandum, extracting the key arguments, holdings, and citations. |
| Write Terms and Conditions | Drafts terms and conditions for a product, service, or website based on your requirements. |
Using a Quick Action
Click any Quick Action button to insert its prompt into the input bar. Depending on the action, the AI may ask follow-up questions to gather the details it needs (such as party names, jurisdiction, or specific terms) before generating the output.
You can also edit the inserted prompt before sending it to add additional instructions or context.
Customizing Quick Actions
You can personalize which Quick Actions appear and in what order:
Open the Editor
Click the pencil icon next to the Quick Actions row to enter edit mode.
Add, Remove, or Reorder
- Add a new Quick Action by typing a label and the prompt it should trigger.
- Remove an existing Quick Action by clicking its delete button.
- Reorder Quick Actions by dragging them into your preferred arrangement.
Save
Click Save to apply your changes. Your custom Quick Action set persists across sessions.
Power user tip: Create Quick Actions for tasks you repeat frequently within a specific practice area, such as "Draft a motion to compel" or "Summarize deposition transcript." This turns multi-sentence prompts into a single click.
